Instructions for Authors

Eligibility of Manuscript Contributors

The authors must adhere to the Transactions of the ICROS submission regulations and be a member of the ICROS (As soon as a person becomes a member of the society, they may submit their manuscript)

Online Submission

Manuscripts can be submitted electronically via our website. This can be done by visiting Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems website where full text is available and following the instructions. Only PDF files are accepted and authors should embed all the fonts needed to print the paper.

Submission Fees

Two types of contributions are regularly considered:

• (1) Regular Papers: Presentation of significant research, development or application of control concepts.
• (2) Technical Papers: Brief technical notes, comments on published areas or established control topics, corrections to papers, and notes published in the Journal.

Publication Fees

All submitted manuscripts shall be reviewed according to the policy of the editorial board for publication by the ICROS. After the review is complete and the editorial board decides to "accept" the manuscript for publication, the manuscript shall be published in the order in which it was received. The author of the paper shall pay the publication charge.

Page Charge

After a manuscript has been accepted for publication through a regular review process, the authors will be requested to pay a page charge of 30,000 KRW per page, for the first six pages of a paper. Papers with more than six pages are subject to a mandatory page charge of 50,000 KRW for each page exceeding the six printed pages. If a manuscript has been accepted for publication through an expedited review process, the authors will be requested to pay a page charge of 50,000 KRW per page, for the first six pages of a paper. Papers with more than six pages are subject to a mandatory page charge of 80,000 KRW for each page exceeding the six printed pages. An additional acknowledgement charge of 100,000 KRW will be requested if acknowledgement(s) is stated on the paper.
